Astrid Brook

Astrid Brook is a UK-based singer-songwriter who has been singing for over 20 years. She has played numerous solo concerts in the UK and abroad including Sri Lanka, US, Canada and Brazil. These include acoustic music events, festivals, charity concerts, corporate events, hotels, private arts clubs, Buddhist gatherings, and now the wonderful world of online gigs where since the beginning of the pandemic she has continued to sing regularly.

Astrid's most recent release is called Liberation which an album of original Liberating Folk Music songs that have been composed to gently lift your spirit. Through her music, Astrid supports two charitable organisations: Since 2003, she has been an Ambassador for 'Music4Children', who along with Help Nepal Network have built a shelter for girls in Nepal; and since 2007, she has been a guest singer at the annual Country Roads Concert in Sri Lanka organised by 'The Country Music Foundation of Sri Lanka' who raise money to fund projects to help kids around the country - Astrid will be performing at the Country Roads Concert for the 10th time in Oct 2023.
